Rosso di Montalcino is a red wine with Controlled Denomination of Origin and is produced from the Sangiovese vines of the Municipality of Montalcino. It is a young wine that combines a superb structure with characteristics of vivacity and freshness. It can be released for consumption on September 1st of the year following the harvest. Refinement takes place in French oak for one year and then in the bottle for six months. Available years: 2016
Ilex is an IGT with an intense ruby red color. The wine’s nose offers notes of black berry fruit (species of blackberry), flanked by slightly moist sensations and peat notes. The taste, in keeping with the olfactory expression, is of black berry fruit; the high concentration of tannins present, and the minerality in the closure ensure good persistence and vibrations.
