Brunello is a DOCG red wine.The area of production and bottling is exclusively within the administrative terrory of Montalcino. The vinification follows the specifications of the Consorzio. Ageing: in French oak tonneaux for two years and a further two years in the bottle. Improves in the long ageing. It's released to the market after five years from the year of harvest.
Rosso di Montalcino is a DOC red wine produced from Sangiovese grapes within the territory of Montalcino. It's a young wine that combines a superb structure, attributes of particular vivacity and freshness. Ready for consumption on September 1st of the year following the harvest. Ageing: in French oak tonneaux for one year and a further six months in the bottle.
Ilex is an IGT a deep ruby red color. The olfactory notes are of black berry jam blended together with moist, slightly agitated sensations. On the palate, in keeping with the olfactory expression, the notes of black fruit return; the tannis – well present – and the minerality in the closure ensure good persistence and vibration.
Harmonious, pleasant, typically vinous; the qualities of great Brunello wines are evident. On the palate impact is decisive and direct, it opens in varied and complex hints with long and virile finish. Fresh march processed from the distillery Capovilla, Rosa' , Vicenza.
